    Australian climates

    "It’s warm, it’s fun and it won’t break the bank" goes the ad for a well-known package holiday group. The top billing given to temperature in the slogan illustrates just how important climate is to holidaymakers. It’s one of the first things you notice when you step off the plane - part of the "sense of place" which academics talk about.

    Australia is a big country, stretching from the tropics to the roaring forties, and it has a correspondingly wide range of climates. There’s something to suit everyone! Scuba-divers like the warm waters off the tropical Queensland coast; sunlovers feel at home in central Australia’s hot, dry climate. The cool temperate climate of the Australian Alps in the southeast of the continent attracts skiers in winter and walkers in summer.

    What is the best time of year to visit Australia? It depends on what part of the country you will be visiting and what you would like to do.

    Australia can be divided into six main climatic regions or zones on the basis of air temperature and humidity.

    Apreciado Andreu,
    Creo que es una buena iniciativa dentro de turismo 2.00 tener un apartado a los compañeros que utilizan el inglés dentro del grupo.
    Pero creo también que el gran número a los que va dirigido esta web son en su mayoría hispanohablantes, dado que existen varias webs en inglés. Cómo existirán también en alemán, en francés y en otros idiomas.
    Cómo es un foro de discusión, creo que está más adaptado a los problemas cotidianos que tenemos en nuestro entorno latino.
    Para la gran mayoría de miembros es mucho más fácil expresarse en castellano debido a la facilidad con el idioma y sobre todo a los matices que esta lengua nos permite.

    Apreciado Juan, interesante este post sobre Australia, la verdad apetece visitarla.
    Te invito a que te unas al Grupo Travel Web Café, puesto, que te gusta el cafe ;-), y además veo que de vez en cuando posteas en inglés, y este grupo lo hemos creado para poder intercambiar ideas con los compañeros de habla inglesa.
